En octubre de 2020, Astilleros Gondán resultó adjudicatario de un contrato para la construcción de diez ferries eléctricos para el operador de transporte fluvial de pasajeros portugués Transtejo–Transportes Tejo, S.A. El contrato, firmado en enero de 2021, ha recibido el visto bueno del Tribunal de Cuentas de Portugal, y el astillero trabaja en la construcción del singular encargo.

Los futuros buques, de 40 m de eslora, serán propulsados íntegramente por electricidad. La naviera portuguesa apuesta así por una flota ambientalmente sostenible, que será única en el mundo.

Procedente de Mahón, esta mañana ha arribado por primera vez al puerto de Palma de Mallorca el buque rolón “Gubal Trader” (IMO 7802794), fletado a largo plazo por Trasmed para resolver el transporte de mercancías peligrosas, según informa la propia compañía del Grupo Grimaldi. Este buque es propiedad de la naviera egipcia United Marine Egypt, está abanderado en Chipre y registrado a nombre de la sociedad Sivamar Shipping Co. Ltd.

Es un barco entrado en años, 42 para ser exactos. Se trata del antiguo “Gute”, construido por encargo de la compañía sueca Rederi Ab Gotland y en servicio...

Squeaky clean kudos to Bradford Marine. Both Bradford Marine Fort Lauderdale and Billfish by Bradford have earned Clean Marinas and Clean Boatyards titles by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). The designations make Bradford Marine the 329th Clean Marina and 49th Clean Boatyard in the state, adding 92 wet slips and six dry storage racks to the Clean Marina community.
